Meet Our Owner - Dr. Jennifer Wallace
Dr. Jennifer Wallace leads Beaufort Smiles with more than 25 years of compassionate, comprehensive dental expertise. A certified Vivos provider and master instructor in jaw development, orofacial myofunctional therapy, physiologic orthodontics, and implant dentistry, she specializes in balancing oral health with overall wellness. She is deeply invested in continuing education and innovation, including postdoctoral training at the Facial Beauty Institute and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
From Navy Service to Lowcountry Roots
Originally from Columbia, SC, Dr. Wallace graduated from Clemson University (BS) and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Afterwards, she served in the U.S. Navy, completing an advanced residency and practicing in Virginia, Italy, and at the Pentagon. In 2006, she founded Palmetto Smiles of Beaufort—and then, in 2021, acquired Beaufort Smiles to carry on its legacy.
More Than a Dentist
Today, she lives in the Lowcountry with her husband, Dr. Aaron Sarathy, and their family. Together, they enjoy time on the water, exploring nature, and being active members of the Beaufort community.

Meet Dr. Rebecca Reed
We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Rebecca Reed to Beaufort Smiles! Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, she brings a patient-first philosophy to our practice. She holds a DDS from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed her AEGD residency in Charleston—where she honed her skills in comprehensive care.
Beyond Dentistry
Outside the office, Dr. Reed and her husband Andy enjoy the Lowcountry’s natural beauty—especially life on the water. A lifelong music lover, she performed in choir and even a Mozart Festival in Europe. Though she once planned to study music production, dentistry became her passion. She is also a foodie who loves cooking—especially Asian cuisine—and hopes to welcome a furry friend into the family soon.
